Articolele publicate de revista Mioriţa folosesc ca model de citare Normele Academiei Române.
NORMELE ACADEMIEI ROMÂNE
Hârtia: Format A 4.
Margini: 2,5 cm sus, 2 cm jos, stânga şi dreapta.
Numerotare pagini: centru.
Titlu: Times New Roman de 12 bold, centrat (ex. SESIUNE DE COMUNICĂRI).
Nume autor/i: Times New Roman de 12 bold, aliniat dreapta (ex. Ion IONESCU).
Rezumat: În limba engleză. Times New Roman de 10, aliniat stânga-dreapta, italic.
Cuvinte cheie: 5-6 în limba engleză.
Text: Times New Roman de 12, aliniat stânga-dreapta, maxim 25 de pagini cu fotografii, grafice, tabele etc.
– textul se tehnoredactează la 1,5 rânduri.
– pentru fixarea aliniatelor se foloseşte numai comanda „Tab”,
– nu se lasă spaţii libere între paragrafe.
– semnele de punctuaţie se pun imediat (fără spaţiu) după cuvântul pe care îl urmează (ex.: istorie, arheologie, ştiinţe auxiliare.).
– indicele de notă se pune automat cu comanda „footnote”.
NOTELE DE SUBSOL
În cadrul notei, ordinea datelor este următoarea: prenumele autorului, numele, titlul lucrării (cu litere italice), volumul, locul de apariţie, editura (facultativ), anul, pagina. În cazul în care nu este menţionat anul, se trece f.a.
Dacă se face referire la aceeaşi lucrare, se procedează astfel:
1. Când referirea se face imediat după prima menţionare a lucrării, datele sunt substituite de termenul Ibidem, cu menţionarea paginii, dacă este alta decât cea din prima menţiune.
2. Când se face o nouă referire a lucrării după mai multe note, se dă numele autorului, apoi op. cit., urmată de numărul paginii.
3. Când un autor este citat, succesiv, cu mai multe lucrări, intercalate cu alte note, se trece numele autorului, titlul (eventual prescurtat), apoi pagina.
4. Când un autor este citat succesiv cu mai multe lucrări, numele este înlocuit prin Idem (acelaşi).
5. Când autorul preia un citat, nu din sursa primară ci din altă lucrare, introduce menţiunea apud (după).
6. Când autorul citează informaţii de pe un număr mare de pagini ale unei alte lucrări, în locul paginii de introduce termenul passim (peste tot).

7. În cazul în care este citat un studiu dintr-un periodic de specialitate, numele periodicului se culege cu litere italice, ca şi titlul studiului. Cifrele romane indică numărul anilor de apariţie ai periodicului:
Exemplu: Robert Păiuşan, Începuturile transporturilor feroviare în Balcani, în Revista istorică, VIII, 1995, nr. 9-10, pp. 671-677.
8. În cazul în care este citat un studiu publicat într-un volum:
Exemplu: Paul E. Michelson, Semnificaţia Memorandului, în David Prodan – puterea modelului, Cluj-Napoca, Fundaţia Culturală Română, 1995, pp. 250-257.
9. Citarea surselor arhivistice:
Denumirea arhivei, fondul, dosarul, anul, fila.
Exemplu: Serviciul Județean Hunedoara al Arhivelor Naționale (SJHAN), Fond Camera de Comerţ şi Industrie Deva, Dosar 88/1924, f. 105.
10. Citarea site-urilor:

11. Materialul ilustrativ se va prezenta în formă grafică clară în format electronic (JPG sau TIF, nu mai puţin de 300 dpi). Imaginile, graficele, tabelele etc. vor fi însoţite obligatoriu de informaţii corespunzătoare, indicându-se şi sursa de provenienţă.
Date despre autor: Nume, prenume, grad ştiinţifico-didactic, funcţia, instituţia, e-mail, data prezentării materialului.
Termenul limită anual de trimitere a materialelor pentru publicare este 31 mai, urmând a fi recenzate de către specialişti în domeniu, cu grad ştiinţific, până la 31 iunie, revista urmând să fie publicată până la 30 septembrie.
Colegiul de redacţie îşi rezervă dreptul de a respinge materialele care nu corespund profilului revistei, nu respectă normele de tehnoredactare, nu au valoare ştiinţifică sau au mai fost publicate anterior sub diverse forme.
Pentru eliminarea oricăror litigii, autorii au obligaţia de a completa o declaraţie de originalitate.
Nu sunt percepute taxe de publicare şi nici onorarii pentru recenzori.
Autorii primesc cu titlu gratuit un număr al revistei şi deţin toate drepturile de autori asupra articolelor. Dreptul de publicare şi de copyright îl deţine revista Mioriţa.

FOOTNOTES
- Within a footnote, the order of the information is as follows: author’s first name, author’s last name, the title of the paper (in italics), volume, the place of publishing, publishing house (optional), year, page number. In case the year is not mentioned, s.a. should be indicated.
- When the same work is referenced:
1. When we reference a work that was already cited once in a previous footnote, the information is replaced by the term Ibidem, and the page number is indicated if it is different from the one from the first footnote.
2. When a work is referenced again after several footnotes: the author’s name, then op. cit. followed by the page number.
3. When an author is cited successively with several works, separated by other footnotes: the author’s name, the title (possibly abbreviated), then the page number.
4. When an author is cited successively with several works, his/her name is replaced by Idem (the same).
5. When the author uses a quotation taken not from the primary source but from another work, the term apud (after) should be used.
6. When the author quotes information from a large number of pages of another work, instead of the page number the term passim (throughout) should be used.

7. When a paper from a specialized periodical is quoted, the name of the periodical and the title of the paper are written in italics. The Roman numerals indicate the number of years since the periodical has appeared

11. The illustrations will be submitted in clear graphic form (JPG or TIF, no less than 300 dpi). The pictures, graphs, tables, etc. must be accompanied by adequate information, with the indication of the source.
Information about the author: last name, first name, scientific-teaching degree, position, institution, e-mail, date of submitting the material.
The annual deadline for submitting materials for publication is 31 May. They willbe reviewed by specialists in the field, holders of a scientific degree, by 31 June. The journal will be published by 30 September.
The editorial board reserves the right to reject materials that do not correspond to the profile of the journal, do not comply with the desktop publishing rules, have no scientific value, or have been previously published in various forms.
In order to preclude any disputes, the authors must fill in a statement of originality.
There are no publication fees or fees for reviewers.
The authors receive a free issue of the journal and own all copyright in the articles. The journal Mioriţa holds the right to publish and the copyright.
